When should I assign a role to a task and when should I leave the role blank?

You'll want to assign a role to a task if you want it to be automatically added to every caregiver in that role.

Do NOT assign a role to a task if you only want it to be sent manually, as this allows you to ad-hoc assign the task to a caregiver as needed.
