How can a caregiver update a document that isn’t technically expired?

Modified on Wed, 6 Aug, 2025 at 2:09 PM

If a caregiver needs to update a document like their driver’s license or car insurance more than 30 before the current version expires, they won’t automatically be prompted to take action in Homecare Pro.

But as a manager, you can trigger the update manually:

  1. Go to the caregiver’s profile page.

  2. Scroll down to the All Tasks section.

  3. Filter by Incomplete and Compliant to find the relevant task that is due in the future (e.g., Car Insurance).

  4. Even if the task is compliant (e.g., it expires in 2028), you can edit the due date.

  5. Set the due date to within the next 30 days, this will prompt the caregiver to complete it again.

This is a helpful trick when you know a caregiver has an updated document that needs to be collected, even if the old one isn’t “expired” yet in the system.
